Lack of a "you-centered" approach in business simply means this... within numerous industries (an, diet-exercise-fitness-health-nutrition-weight management isn't much of an exception to the rule), sales primary production focus lies in "features." These are: What the weight loss product or service can do; how it's structured, or why it's supposed to be so great. Quite often business, industry, and media seem to forget that "people" or "real" customers pay the salaries and make the businesses run. With that in mind, YOU and YOUR ideas, your comments, needs, feelings, circumstances and suggestions need to become first in the forecast of business and corporate venture. Until this happens, YOU must seek your weight loss outcome with even more persistence, determination, and care.

 

Two:

Formal Anatomy Misconceptions

Now, let's look at Number

Two: Basic Misunderstanding or Misconception of Human Anatomy and Its "True" Operational Ability and Function. In today's society, the hard cold fact is this... unless you've dedicated your life to, and /or spent/invested thousands of dollars into an accredited nationally or internationally recognized and formal program of biomechanics, anatomy, reflexology, physiology, athletic training, or exercise science and dietetics... you are bound to lack the most firm grasp on the "inner workings" of the human body.

 

Yet, how can you rehearse your routine with correct and clear understanding when you have not broken it down, piece by piece, reassembled it again, and documented your findings and outcomes over and again, plus noted differentiations, subtleties, and idiosyncrasies?

 

Without such knowledge (either your very own, or the assistance, guidance and availability of a caring and reliable resource person or organization), you may be stuck with antiquated ideas like:

1) weight lifting makes me too bulky, so I won't add the resistance training component to my weight loss workouts;

2) I'm doing my abdominal crunches every day, so why am I still so fat or overweight around the middle?... and

3) I already cut back on my food intake, so why aren't I losing weight?

 

Three: Compelling Motivation Consequence

Finally, let's consider Number Three: Motivation -- That Is, Having Individual Possession of An Absolutely Compelling Reason To Get It Done, and In The Right Way, Too. Your motivational trigger can be a pleasant one, or a painful one. Yet, you can turn even a painful experience into a positive weight management cause. For the word "motivation," allow me to offer you the "renewed" and much more highly useful definition...

 

Motivation centers around being absolutely convinced regarding the consequences of your adequacy or inadequacy at improving your performance. Put simply, you've got to find the strongest reasons that make you stick to at least the minimum daily requirements for weight loss progress. Without necessary motivation, your effort succumbs to the "half-baked" style for getting things done. More often than not, individuals remain just a few mere points away from reaching their threshold breaking potential on a consistent basis. And, motivation (that is, the kind we just talked about) in such cases gives you the added intellectual "spark" that ignites the flame for more intense activity almost "exactly" when you need it.

 

Such an advantage can literally make the difference between, let's say, pumping out a 50-minute aerobic sessions at 125 heart beats per minute, or only performing a 25-minute session at only a mere 115 heart beats per minute. That's a gain or loss of about 325 extra calories in your per-day workout. When adopting the first example above, your "motivated" session style gets you the added advantage of losing about 300 "extra" calories per day. That gives you a total of approximately 500 calories lost on each workout day. This eventually translates to 22 pounds of extra body fat lost per year!

 

Thorough aerobic targeted training workouts can offer you up to 10 or more calories per minute of fat burning potential. Yet, the average person usually only reaches 5 or 6 calories per minute during a normal workout. Therefore, implement motivation to take you farther. Use your intentionally focused and direct weight loss clarity to achieve markedly improved fat-burning results.

 

In Summary

Are you clear now? There's a lot of information out there. But the hidden secret is to become aware of those "other" factors (like the ones we've mentioned here) that contribute equally, if not more, to the way you approach losing weight through healthy lifestyle changes. You can see that clarity is about knowledge... wisdom is a process involving awareness, accountability, and action. Make every reasonable attempt to see your way CLEARLY through to weight loss success.

Three Steps To Permanent Weight Loss

 

You can lose weight. If you have had some disappointments with weight loss in the past it may be hard to believe, but it is true. You can lose weight. But first you must learn the basics, and then you must apply what you learn.

There are labels on most foods. The labels are a good place to start. They list the calories as well as protein, fat, and carbohydrate content of foods. You can use them to compare foods and make wise choices. You will also want to get a good book that has nutritional information that you can count on. When it comes to weight loss knowledge is power.

 

2. Make a plan.

Once you know something about nutrition, you have to make a plan. It doesn't have to be complicated, but you have to have some idea of where you are going. You just take the basics you learned from reading your food labels and from your other reading, and figure out how you are going to use them. You make a simple plan that will fit with your life and your schedule. For example, you start by finding out what protein is, where it comes from and why it is a crucial part of your permanent weight loss plan. Then you need to figure out where you are going to get the protein you need.

 

It may be as simple as cooking some chicken breasts to have in your lunch for the week. You can cook once per week if that fits your schedule, and pack each meal in an airtight container, one for each day. Taking you lunch in a cooler will not only help you eat right, it will save a lot of money you would otherwise have to spend buying your lunch. Or, it might be as simple as carrying a protein bar in your purse or briefcase.

 

You have to make sure that good, nutritious and satisfying food is available when hunger strikes. It won't do you much good to know what you should be eating, only to look around when you get hungry and all you can find is potato chips and soda. A little planning goes a long ways toward reaching your goals.

 

3. Keep your eye on your goal.

If you want to lose weight and keep it off, you have to keep your eye on your goal. Set a reasonable goal for yourself, and stick to it. One way to set a goal is to use the "body mass index." The body mass index is simply a way of finding how much you should weigh based on how tall you are.

 

Just type "body mass index" into any internet search engine, and you will find a calculator that will do the work for you. A number of 25 or less is considered normal. But remember, any weight you take off, even if you don't get quite to your "ideal weight," is going to have tremendous benefits for your overall health and for your mental outlook.

 

You are probably going to have some ups and downs; most people do. But don't let them throw you off. Learn what you need to know about what you eat, make a plan, and then keep your eye on your goal. The little slips, the little backslides, don't worry about these things. Look at the larger picture. Make a decision about how you want to look and what you want to do with your life. So you lost 20 pounds and gained back 2, or 3, or 5. It happens. But you've still made progress. Don't give up. Expect the little setbacks. They happen to everyone. Don't let it get you down and you will succeed. Follow these steps, learn something about nutrition, make a plan, and stick to it. And you will finally have the body you always wanted!

Weight Loss - How Too Lose Weight Once And For All

 

Losing weight is more to do with the mind than it does to do with exercise and diet. Don't get me wrong on this but when the inside is balanced the outside will be balanced as well. What do I mean by this? Well although you are human on the outside on the inside is your spirit side. If the spirit part of you is not healthy then it will show on your outside. You may find that some family and friends may feel that your 60kg goal is 'unrealistic', especially if you have a lot of weight to lose. They may even try to tell you that you will look anorexic and sick in an attempt to sabotage you. However, if you have done your research properly, and follow the guidelines from the healthy weight range you will be fine. Your goal may be far off in the distance, but if that is what you really want to strive towards, than don't let anyone stand in your way.

 

Setting Measurable Goals

Once you have set your specific goal, you need to find a way to measure your progress or you will not know when you have reached your goals. Feel free to use one or a combination of the following methods of tracking your progress:

 

# A great way to help you see any changes is to take 'Before and After' photographs. It is best, when using this, to take pictures of your progress, generally every four to six weeks is best to see results. Try not to cover your body in a lot of clothing as they may obstruct your results. Take the plunge and wear a bikini or other bathing suit so you are able to really see yourself.

 

It is also a good idea to try to wear similar clothing for each photo you take. If you wore bike pants and a sports top, try to stick to wearing that for your next progress picture. If you are feeling more confident you may like to change to a bikini, however it is not recommended to go from a bikini to a sports top and bike pants. Adding clothing for these pictures may obstruct the visible changes your body has undergone.

 

# The scale is a great way to help measure your loss. However, you need to remember that you need to focus on how much body fat you have lost, not just the overall number on the scale. You need to remember that sometimes you may 'gain' weight as you may have gained some muscle while losing fat.

 

# Another great way to measure your success is to use a tape measure and keep track of your losses. Hips, waist, bust, thigh, calf, arm and neck measurements are the most commonly used measurements to track weight loss progress. You may even like to use an article of clothing to help track your progress.

 

# If your goal is to lose fat, not just weight, than you will need to measure your Body Fat Percentage on a regular basis. To do this you will need to do a skinfold test or find an online Body Fat Calculator . By checking your Body Fat Percentage, you will be able to monitor your weight loss progress, be able to see that you are losing excess fat and not muscle tissue.

 

Setting Realistic Deadlines

When setting deadlines for your weight loss goals, you need to remember that you did not put the weight on overnight. You cannot expect to lose weight quickly and maintain it. Just look at the fad diets you may have followed in the past. Fad diets, such as the Cabbage Soup diet, do allow people to lose weight quickly but as the 'new lifestyle' is not something you can maintain for a long period of time, once you stop the weight piles back on. Generally, when you follow a restrictive diet like this, you lose not only fat but also muscle weight. When the weight comes back it returns as fat, making you look fatter than when you started.

 

You need to aim for a weight loss between 0.5-1kg each week (which translates to about a half a percent of body fat). It may seem like a slow process, but it is the safest way to lose the weight and, more importantly, keep it off. By taking the weight off slowly, you give your body the chance to adapt to new eating and exercising habits that you can maintain for the rest of your life. By losing the weight slowly, you are more likely to be losing excess fat, and not muscle making your body look more lean and athletic.

 

Setting Long-Term and Short-Term Goals

So... you have set your goal to lose 50kgs. When you look at the amount you need to lose, it can feel very intimidating. By breaking you goal into long-term and short-term goals, it can make your goals seem more attainable.

 

There are several short and long term goals you can use:

* Your ultimate long-term goal
* Three month goals
* Weekly goals
* Daily goals
* Beating your personal best

 

Long-Term Goal:

This is your Ultimate Goal. What do you ultimately what to achieve? Don't listen to anyone who says you cannot do it. If you have the desire and willingness to work for it, then you can achieve it. Three Month Goal: This is an important goal if you have a lot of work to do or would like to challenge yourself and change your body. It is the perfect time frame for a short-term goal because you can achieve a lot in this period. Most people can transform their bodies in 90 days. A sensible three month goal would be to lose 5-10kgs and up to 6% body fat. Your ultimate goal may be some way off and you may not be able to stay focused on the long-term. A three month goal can feel more manageable and achievable, it can help keep you focused on achieving your ultimate goal.

 

Weekly Goals:

A weekly goal can help you to stay on track and provide feedback on how you are going. If you achieving the results you want, you can continue doing what your have been. If your results aren't what you expected, you can adjust what you have been doing and get back on track.

 

Daily Goals:

To reach your ultimate goal or even your three month goal you need to start developing new, health habits and work on them repeatedly until the come naturally. Write out a list of 'to-do' list of the habits you want to develop.

 

Good daily habits can help you achieve goals such as:

* eating smaller portions
* cutting down sugar intake
* getting up early

 

It is not an overnight process. Like losing the excess weight, it will take time to form the healthy habits needed to achieve your goals. By making small changes and repeating them every day you can make them stick and use them to help achieve your ultimate goal.

Beating Your Personal Best: Don't try to compare yourself with other people, even if you are working with someone to help keep each other motivated. You need to strive to constantly challenge yourself. After your initial three month goal, you can try to improve your previous results. Mix up your workouts, add a second or third weight training session. Do not just focus on improving the number on the scale, try improving and getting the most out of your workouts or adding more fresh fruit an vegetables to your diet.

 

Once you have written out your goals, take the time to write them out in the form of affirmations.

# Make it personal -

use the work 'I', 'I am' or 'I have'. Personal words like 'I am" have power. By using words like these in a personal manner, you are able to reach your sub-conscious which can help give you an extra push to reach your goals.

 

# Write in present tense.

To your sub-conscious mind 'tomorrow' never comes, it responds to commands given to it in present tense. Write, think and visualize your goal as if you have already achieved it.

# Write your goals in positive terms. Write what you want to achieve, not what you want or need to avoid.

 

Once you are happy with how your goals are written, post them up in various places so you will be able to see and read them often. By re-reading your goals on a regular basis, you help keep yourself focused and motivated to achieve your goals. When you start achieving some of your goals, reward yourself for the hard work you have completed. Avoid rewarding yourself with food. Food is not a reward; it is to fuel your body. Rewards for achieving a goal can be something simple like a facial or a new article of clothing.
